Sometimes, when we feel the most lost in this world, the best thing we can do is stop and conduct a meditation for receiving important messages. The universe could be sending these signals our way, and we are not taking the time to stop and look for them. This is why a meditation for receiving important messages can be imperative.
Before we begin, take a moment to breathe.
Feel your chest lightly rise and fall as you experience this unique moment.
Now, get comfortable.
As you inhale, feel your shoulder muscles rise slightly, and then allow them to drop down and fully relax with your exhale.
Move down your body with your focus. Breathe into and relax each muscle, one at a time, from your head down to your toes.
Breath into your arms and exhale out any tension.
Breath into your core and exhale out any tension.
Stay present with each breath. Feel the joy and life each breath provides you with as you bring in new, fresh air and push out old, stale energy.
Now that you are truly relaxed, clear your mind.
Keep your mind quiet yet open and ready to receive any guidance that may come your way.
Do any messages or important thoughts immediately come to mind?
Ask the universe, “Are there any important messages I am meant to receive today?”
Perhaps, you will receive an answer by “knowing a thought.” Perhaps, you will see something in your mind or hear something.
If something comes to your mind, however you receive it, don’t dismiss it. Quickly acknowledge this message and release it. Don’t try to analyze it at this time. Just receive it, notate it, and release.
Ask the universe if there are any messages you need to receive that could help you more happily accomplish your plans today.
Allow your mind to stay open to receive.
No matter what comes through, acknowledge it, notate it, and release it with gratitude.
Ask your guidance any lingering question that may be on your mind. Perhaps, it arose from the messages you received. Or it could be completely unrelated. If you think to ask it, you should.
Allow yourself a minute to receive any answers.
Then, with ease, release your thoughts into the universe and breathe once more.
Slowly open your eyes and get ready to start or re-start your day with any aid from the messages your guidance has provided you with.
