A Wine Tasting I Will Never Forget

Life is about experience. I am not interested in doing something bigger or better than anyone else, but I am looking for new and exciting ways to live big, if only briefly. My cabbage stack is small, and I’ve always been frugal and do not spend on the newest generation of anything. However, when I see an experience worth the price, I dive in, especially for a wine tasting.

​This philosophy has taken me around the world several times, landed me excellent employment, and provided me with lush natural surroundings of all climates, from tundra to jungles, islands, and deserts. When you achieve your next life/career goal, engagement, promotion, landmark birthday, bachelor/ bachelorette parties, etc., Travel in safety.

​A designated driver is one smart choice; a limo/bus with a chauffeur is another. To create memories of new heights, reserve your designated pilot and helicopter ride in Hunter Valley with a winery tour and tasting. Mentioning driving through a wine region will paint a certain picture in your mind and revive memories. A helicopter ride over the vineyards presents entirely new and vast images for capture.

​I am not a content creator because I tend to purposefully live in the moment and not open my camera app at every wonderful thing I see. I am a little selfish that way, I guess. Enjoy the view without the viewfinder, essentially. Another way to put it is: take bad pictures but make great memories. If a picture says more than a thousand words, why are books always better than movies? I would rather hear you tell me the thousand words in a good conversation about your experience.

​The busy world below will disappear as you are lifted into open skies and witness this portion of nature in scale with the beauty of our vast nation. Commercial air travel is a layer of flight many people experience, but low-level and close-proximity flight brings fresh exhilaration. It would be part of an epic adventure to include a helicopter, hot air balloon, or general aviation aircraft ride on your next local or international holiday.

​On your next winery tour, ask for an international wine flight. Request a sauvignon blanc from Chile, Austria, the U.S.A., and South Africa. This way, you can travel without a passport or commercial air travel issues and taste the variety of local ingredients and climate in each glass. This is not meant to be a complete world tour in an afternoon. LOL

​The smartest wine on the market is one enjoyed with safe transportation plans already arranged. What is better than a helicopter ready to depart when you are? I will admit that some laws seem to target saving dumb people from consequences. However, the law of wine tasting portions being limited to 50mL is one I may be inclined to look the other way when broken.

​I think you will agree that a proper scientific portion for effective sensory assessment would be larger than 50mL. Even a measure of grog rum for sailors was 280mL. However you enjoy a glass of wine, by fire, before family visits, or after a meal, enjoy what you do not spill.
