Bundle Up this Winter with adidas

This chilly season, wherever you may reside around the world, I encourage you to bundle up and go outside! Being active is in, and with that, activewear is not only essential to your fall-winter wardrobe, but it’s also a great gift idea for the people closest to you. We were reminded about this in full swing just a couple of weeks ago as my partner, Michael, and I found ourselves eloping in Shenandoah National Park! Though I’ve been back in Virginia for quite some time, it’s still jarring to me how cold it can quickly become. Luckily, we rented a cozy cabin in the mountains so we could bundle up around a fire at night. However, in the day, the cold weather didn’t stop us from getting out and getting active thanks to our adidas. As I’m sure you know by now, we are a proud adidas family, so we were excited to sport the newest and chicest hoodies for our honeymoon adventures. Here are our favorite pieces!

adidas Sweatshirts

If you’re looking for the perfect gift for the active woman in your life, I can’t recommend the adidas womens hoodies enough! I regularly wear my Adicolor 3-Stripes Short Hoodie to match Michael’s Essentials Fleece 3-Stripes Full-Zip Hoodie (and sometimes, I wear his, too). What I love most about it is that it keeps me nice and warm in the chilly weather; however, it’s also a great sweatshirt to wear when there’s just a light breeze, as it’s extremely breathable. This past summer, I found myself at the beach, and this was my go-to sweatshirt to wear at night. Now, as the weather has dropped, I find that it’s the perfect choice for all of our winter hikes, and this was no different on our honeymoon. I found myself going out on several hikes while wearing this sweatshirt, and it always kept me warm while also keeping me breathably cool when our hikes became challenging.

adidas Jackets

Another cold-weather essential is a reliable jacket for when the weather drops down considerably low. For this, adidas offers a variety of womens track suits and jackets that are perfect gifts for the winter season! I love my insulated hooked jacket. I can’t get enough of it. And both Michael and I can regularly be found sporting our adidas track suits when the weather drops.  

On this particular trip up in the mountains of Virginia, I wore my short hoodie with my insulated hooded jacket over it when the weather dropped down low enough. I accentuated this with a fleece ear band, and the cold couldn’t bother me anymore.

What if you’re in warmer areas?

If you’re lucky enough to be in the warmer parts of the world as winter rolls in, I still can’t help but recommend the cozy, breathable adidas sweatshirts I mentioned above. When the weather was still warm on this side of the world, we found ourselves at the beach, and as the wind picked up at night, both my husband and I agreed that our adidas sweatshirts were the perfect choice to keep breathably warm while combating the night-time chill. We can’t recommend wearing adidas activewear at the beach, in the spring and summer while you’re hiking, and bundled with other adidas jackets as the weather drops below freezing. I know I may sound like a broken record here, but we both genuinely love all the adidas outfits that we have.
