Cute Transitional Summer Pieces for All Your Adventures

While we’re getting close to the end of summer this year, there seems to be no end in sight to the warm weather. Temperatures are still rising, and vacations are booming. Since everyone has been stuck in their homes the last couple of years, it appears most of the world is ready to head back out and vacation! Enter airport chaos and the highest number of travelers ever recorded. And I think it’s safe to say that our summer vacations and tropical getaways will be extending fully into the fall and even out towards the holiday season. So, I’ve collected a grouping of my absolute favorite transitional summer pieces that I think will showcase chic summer style for all your tropical getaways that can easily transition into the cooler weather of fall and beyond! Read on below to get inspired.

The San Jacinto Ruffle Shoulder Mini Dress by Selfie Leslie

The second I saw the San Jacinto Ruffle Shoulder Mini Dress by Selfie Leslie, I fell in love. After all, my love for ‘shirring’ on any piece knows no bounds, and the shirred waist of this dress offers a unique and flattering style for many body types. This piece is delicate and romantic, making it perfect for the summer season, yet it also has a high neck and is well-lined, making it transition very well into fall, too. It walks the line of being just flirty enough while still being covering and conservative, yet it has a personality all its own. It literally envibes my style entirely, and I can’t recommend it enough.

You can style it with a cute straw hat for the perfect summer look or instead, cover it up with a nice oversized sweater wrap for a stunning fall look, making it the perfect transitional piece for all of your travels.

The Capri Short Tunic Dress by Nicoblu

The tunics and tunic dresses by Nicoblu are some of my favorite fashion items, as they are incredibly unique and statement-making. They are shaped differently than most casual pieces that you can find which makes them stand out in a crowd. They’re artistic, adorned with beautiful colors, and patterns, and absolutely comfortable, too. Their brand also has a great story you can read here:

I’m specifically obsessed with the Capri Short Tunic Dress in Shalimar Turquoise on Mint Julep, as it’s such a brilliant, bright color to wear for the summer that transitions well into the cooler fall weather, too. Plus the cut and fabric of this piece can easily be cool enough for your warm weather trips and also warm enough for the cooler weather.

Va-Va Vintage!

Perhaps, I’m only obsessing over vintage pieces due to my recent re-watch of (and let’s face it, obsession with) Bewitched, but there’s just a unique charm and high-quality aspect to many authentic vintage pieces. Taking an old piece and styling it to reflect a more modern aspect can provide you with a truly authentic look that no one else has. And, in my opinion, there’s such a unique charm that comes with wearing vintage pieces and mixing and matching to create your own style. I’ve been getting most of my pieces from Viva Vintage but of course, Ebay is also a great spot for it.

Here’s a couple of my favorite looks.
