Daily Grounding Meditation

Find here below a daily grounding meditation exercise that I use regularly when I need to start my day both grounded and from a place of gratitude.

Before we begin, let’s take a moment to breath

Feel your chest lightly rise and fall as you experience this unique moment.

Now, get comfortable.

As you inhale, imagine you are breathing in a vibrant white light. Allow it to fill your body with warmth and love. Allow your shoulders to drop down and relax.

Feel the stress slowly melt off your body with each exhale from your head down to your toes.

Slowly move into a seated position with your feet firmly planted on the ground. Feel what it’s like to have the bottoms of your feet touch the floor beneath you.

Allow your feet to get heavier. Feel both of your feet rooting deeper and deeper into the ground beneath you. Take a moment to discover that strong connection that you have with the earth through your feet.

Now that you feel grounded, allow your mind to drift to what you are grateful for.

What brings you joy in your daily life?

Do you live in your dream home? Are grateful for your health and the health of your loved ones? Are grateful for the company of your family? Are you grateful for the opportunities that life sends your way?

Take a moment to uncover those precious things that bring you the upmost joy in your life.

Now that you’ve recalled what you are grateful for, take a few moments to live in that joy, really feeling the happiness these things add into your life. Refresh your energy by soaking in that joy.

And with each of these happy thoughts, express gratitude for all the things you hold dear.

Thank the universe for providing you with this bit of good in your life.

Now, with a newfound gratitude and joy brought on by the things you love, open your eyes and start or restart your day with this precious energy of gratitude
