How Visualizing Your Ideal Day Can Put You in a Better Mindset

Let’s talk about visualizing in the morning. Some of us are just not morning people. We can be sluggish when we first get up in the morning, and this can have serious repercussions on our day. We can hurt our productivity by dragging. Or, perhaps, you just started the day off in a bad mood. That can happen frequently, especially in the stressful conditions of today’s society. That’s why it’s important now more than ever before to set yourself on the path to success with a daily visualization and manifestation exercise when you first get up.

I find that now more than ever before, it’s important to refresh your energy in the morning so you start clean, fresh, and ready to take on a new day. And a great way to help with your mood and your productivity each morning is to realistically visualize all that you wish to accomplish in a day and see it coming to you. And, of course, you should also always start your day from a place of gratitude, which will help tremendously, too. So, when you first get up tomorrow morning, try adding this new idea into your routine and see how it works for you.

When you first roll out of bed, sit up and back against your headboard or find a convenient place to sit and get comfortable. From your comfy spot, truly relax and start thinking of everything you are grateful for in your life so you can feel that happiness and gratitude needed to really start your day out right.

From there, think about this specific day. What would you like to reasonably accomplish today? Rather than thinking about how to accomplish these tasks, visualize yourself going through each task and accomplishing them. Not only will visualizing help tell the universe what you are looking to accomplish, as the universe responds well to visualization, you will also clear it up for yourself in a way. This could help show you the perfect order in which to accomplish your daily tasks and/or at least bring to mind any questions or concerns you may have regarding the things you need to work on.

Instead of just seeing yourself doing these tasks in your mind, take it one step further and see yourself doing these things with gratitude, happiness, and ease. Really take that sense of gratitude you first felt in the meditation and allow it to color this exercise.

If you can see it, you can achieve it. From here, send this feeling of positivity, gratitude, and accomplishment out into the universe and begin you day with a fresh mindset.

By visualizing what we want to accomplish in our day, we are more likely to achieve it. First, visualizing your day in the morning can provide you with motivation and a sense of accomplishment. This can add that extra pep to your step to get you started on your morning projects.

Visualizing your day early can help assess the best order to accomplish everything in. It can help your mind piece together your day in the most logical and productive way. In a way, it can also prepare you. When we know what to expect and what is coming to us, we are less apprehensive about our days. As humans, we tend to hold onto a lingering fear of the unknown, and when we see our day as an unknown realm of possibilities, it can slow us down to a halt. So, by visualizing our day before we live it out, we are adding a sense of familiarity to it. Perhaps, by doing so, we’re making it less scary for us because we know a lot of big factors to expect throughout the day.

After your meditation, of course, be sure to approach your new-found daily plan with fluidity. Unseen factors you didn’t plan for can easily rise, and in order to keep them from shaking you, expect that things will go a little off your visualization plan, and that’s okay, too. It’s the intention that matters more than following exactly what you set for yourself. There will always be surprises, but that doesn’t mean that you won’t accomplish everything you wish.

But what if you don’t accomplish everything you intended to? That’s okay, too! We can never fully plan out our day no matter how hard we try. There are so many unseen factors out there from surprise meetings to important emails that find their way into your inbox that you had no control over. The point of this meditation is to give yourself the motivation to keep moving throughout the day. There will be days you accomplish everything you want, and there will be days you don’t.

That’s okay. It’s perfectly fine to move tasks over into the next day. But seeing yourself experiencing a happy, productive day each morning is the key to lifting your spirits, giving you motivation, and allowing yourself to fearlessly face a day that now, somehow, looks a little less scary.
