An Interview with Kyle Kittleson on Baba Blast, MedCircle, and More

This week, I’m beyond excited to sit down with someone who’s been quietly revolutionizing how we think about mental health and adventure: Kyle Kittleson, the brilliant mind behind Baba Blast and a host at MedCircle. When my daughter Autumn first discovered Kyle’s work, I watched her light up in a way that reminded me why I fell in love with documenting the extraordinary in the first place. Here’s someone who’s created something genuinely meaningful—Baba Blast isn’t just content, it’s inspiration wrapped in adventure for kids. And Kyle’s work at MedCircle? It’s breaking down the barriers that make mental health feel intimidating or inaccessible. We dive deep into how Kyle built Baba Blast from the ground up, what it’s really like working in the mental health space, and why taking care of your mind is just as crucial as any physical expedition.
My name is Malorie Mackey, and I’ve always had a strong passion for everything dorky and unusual. My adventures have taken me from working as an editorial writer for various travel platforms to volunteering on scientific expeditions around the world. I’ve found that the character of a location can be found in the strange and unusual attractions it has, as well as in the unique traditions of its people. I have also discovered that there’s such a market for these non-mainstream locations. Thus was born my unique paranormal adventure show “Weird World Adventures” and this podcast, which will serve as a companion to the show, featuring unique locations, as well as discussing weird history and more unusual occult topics that I’m discovering on my journey to get my Master Degree in anthropology with a specialization in mythology, folklore, and occult studies.
Are you ready to explore this weird world?
