The Best Travel Podcasts to Keep You Company on Your Next Trip
I’m a huge lover of podcasts. In fact, I’m probably a bit too obsessed. I listen to them pretty much constantly. When I’m commuting to work, washing the dishes, or even while I’m trying to fall asleep — there is always a podcast on in the background. It just makes me feel a little less lonely doing these activities, and they’re also a great way to learn new things. My favorite podcast niche is definitely travel, and that comes as no surprise considering how much I enjoy just packing up my things and booking a flight. So, if you need some travel podcast recommendations to inspire your next trip, here are some of my favorites.
Malorie’s Weird World Adventures

I might be a bit biased because I’m a writer for Malorie’s site, however — If you want to listen to a podcast that is not only highly entertaining but also very educational, then make sure to check out Malorie’s Weird World Adventures podcast. As mentioned, the podcast is hosted by my brilliant editor Malorie Mackey. She features a number of different topics — from her insightful journey in Belgrade to legendary figures throughout history. Her way of sharing these interesting stories makes you feel like you’re having a chat with your best friend.

Women Who Travel
Are you a woman who is looking into traveling solo? As empowering as it is, solitary travel can be a bit scary for anyone, especially for us women. However, you’ll probably never feel more empowered to finally book that flight and pack your bags than you’d be while listening to the podcast Women Who Travel. This podcast, hosted by Conde Nast Traveler editors Lale Arikoglu and Meredith Carey, focuses on the experiences of female adventurers. Lale and Meredith have interviewed various inspiring women who embraced their inner nomads and traveled all over the globe.
