It’s a fascinating place where the lights are always on, and there’s never a dull moment. And the possibilities are endless. Vegas has a way of taking you to places you never thought existed. And while there are dozens of exciting destinations other than casinos and beach clubs that you can stop at while spending time in this desert oasis, these five are some of the strangest you’ll find. Downtown Container Park

Our first stop is a shopping mall in the heart of Las Vegas that’s been made entirely out of shipping containers. It’s called Downtown Container Park, and it’s a one-of-a-kind shopping destination that doesn’t exist anywhere else. As the name indicates, the entire setup is developed using 43 cargo shipping containers. Pretty fascinating, right? You’ll also be surprised to know that this place is a complete package from high-end retail stores to restaurants, bars, live music performances, and more – all under one roof. It’s an excellent place to explore because you’ll never know what you’ll find next.

Fremont Street Experience

Another location worth exploring is the Fremont Street Experience. This street was once known for its mobster activity during the prohibition era. Today, it has been transformed into an entertainment district with plenty of sights to see. One will never be disappointed with the nights here at Fremont. From live music and dance shows to a variety of beverages and food, it’s impossible to be bored here. 

Pinball Hall of Fame

If you’re a pinball aficionado, you should definitely go check out the Pinball Hall of Fame because it’ll make you feel like the place was made for you. The museum features games from all different decades as old as the 50s, which gives it tons of character and makes it feel like you’re stepping back in time. It’s also educational as many people don’t know how pinball machines came about or how they work these days.

The Neon Museum

The Neon Museum is an intriguing place to stop by when spending time in Las Vegas. This museum features more than 150 signs that, at some point in time, have embellished the casinos and bars of Sin City. This is a perfect way to explore the city’s history. There are also guided tours available to learn about some of the most iconic signs in Vegas, such as the Stardust sign and the Thunderbird, for example.

Excalibur

Excalibur might not be the first location that comes to mind when you think about Las Vegas, but it’s certainly fascinating! The hotel is full of old-school arcade games and a couple of different bars. You can also find a replica of King Arthur’s Round Table and play some chess at The Tournament Chess Room. There are plenty of other things to do as well, like playing in the arcade, enjoying one of their famous buffets, or taking a tour of the property.
