Let’s talk about my newest vintage glam photoshoot, the vintage Lucie Ann Robes Photoshoot I did with Katarina Van Derham and VIVA GLAM Magazine. If there’s one thing that my close friends know about me, it’s that I can’t get enough of Elizabeth Montgomery and her famous sitcom, Bewitched. Aside from the lovely idea that she is a ‘modern’ housewife in the 1960s causing trouble (while trying not to) since she’s actually a witch, there’s so much more to it than that. The show started with Montgomery’s character, Samantha, being coyer and more soft-spoken before it became wildly popular. With its popularity, Elizabeth Montgomery was given more of the freedom to be more spastic, exaggerated, and well, weird, and I just loved it. It was as if she was slowly discovering her inner weirdo on screen, and I was all there for it.
In some of the earlier seasons, the show began working with independent Beverly Hills designer Lucie Ann Onderwyzer, featuring her famously gorgeous lingerie on Elizabeth Montgomery. Many times, we would see Samantha in her nightgown, all beautiful flowing robes and gowns from Lucie Ann lingerie. They were also made famous in part thanks to Eva Gabor, who also wore these gorgeous robes and nightgowns on the show Green Acres.
I will say, after countless hours of searching and notably a vintage pajama problem, I wound up accumulating several of these robes, which I happily modeled for my newest vintage glam photoshoot with Katarina Van Derham, VIVA GLAM Magazine, and European House LA. This was a dream shoot that I couldn’t be happier with as I unleashed my inner witch and emulated Elizabeth Montgomery in all her glory (with a more Victorian twist, of course).

I hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I enjoyed making them!
