Weird Things Our Favorite Celebrities Can’t Travel Without

I think we all have some weird travel essentials that we don’t hit the airport without. It’s either a sentimental little thing, some supper bougie wellness tools, very specific snacks, or an ages-old neck pillow that we’re low-key ashamed of, but we just feel like it brings us good luck. It’s no coincidence that the last one was so specific, because yes – that’s on my list of quirky travel essentials. However, did you know that celebrities can be even weirder than we are when it comes to travel must haves? I mean, of course, they are, because they have the luxury of traveling by private jets, so they can pretty much bring whatever they like. Here are just some examples of the weird things our favorite celebrities can’t travel without.

Taylor Swift

Let’s start with my favorite celebrity of all time – Taylor Swift. Miss TayTay is notorious for her private jet travel endeavor, especially when she’s balancing being on tour and keeping her romance with Travis Kelce alive. Taylor is known to be very private, at least when it comes to her relationship with the general public. She’s more into spilling all of her secrets in her lyrics. However, one thing that she did mention in a fairly old interview is that she always keeps a jar of her homemade jam when she travels. How wholesome is that? She’s rumored to be a fantastic cook and a passionate baker, so this answer makes so much sense.

Ed Sheeran

Next on the list, we have another pop icon, singer Ed Sheeran. His love for Heinz Ketchup is no secret—he even has the company’s logo tattooed on his arm. Ed takes his devotion a step further by carrying bottles of Heinz Ketchup with him wherever he goes. Whether he’s dining in a fancy restaurant or grabbing a quick bite on the road, Ed makes sure to always have a quick dose of his favorite sauce available. And honestly, this is pretty genius. Because there’s nothing worse than eating a dry burger, or forgetting to order ketchup with your fries, only to realize that once you’ve already exited the drive-through.

Shailene Woodley

Actress Shailene Woodley is known for her holistic lifestyle, so it’s no surprise that she travels with a bag full of clay and herbal remedies. She believes in detoxifying her body with bentonite clay and carries various herbs for making tinctures and teas. And honestly, I totally get where she’s coming from, especially when it comes to the bentonite clay. There’s nothing quite like a clay mask after a long flight to clean out your pores and make your skin feel like new. Also, in case you didn’t know this, traveling can also take a toll on your immune system. And what better way to boost it back to life than with herbal remedies?

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey is known to be a diva, so it’s no surprise that she also has some over-the-top quirky travel essentials. In a prior interview, she once revealed that she never hits the road without her portable humidifiers. Mariah is famously protective of her vocal cords, and keeping her environment humidified is a top priority. Especially when it comes to dry airplane air. She reportedly travels with multiple humidifiers to ensure that the air around her is always just right, no matter where she goes. Goals, my dry skin is in total support of that.
