Explore Southeast Asia Routes and Save up to 50% with Omio

Travel planning in Southeast Asia is a special environment. Although air transport links major hubs, there are numerous passengers who use regional railroads, inter-city buses, and vast networks of ferries.

Through the consolidation of these services, Omio is trying to simplify the process of using these networks. People who commute between major cities, e.g. Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Singapore usually use multiple modes of transport in one trip. Access to built-in scheduling and route comparison can also help to make better decisions, particularly when they involve people who are unexposed to local operators or timetables.

While the expansion of routes itself provides travelers with more choices, the primary value lies in the substantial 50% off voucher offered by Omio, which delivers significant and immediate savings

This considerable discount is particularly advantageous for ground-dependent travelers, such as those backpacking or using intercountry buses and ferries within a region, offering them a useful financial edge.

More broadly, the growing number of routes signals a positive shift towards a more accessible and digitalized transportation environment in Southeast Asia. This integration, facilitated by platforms like Omio that compare trains, buses, and flights, helps travelers navigate a region where transport options can vary greatly between countries. It simplifies the planning process, which often involves balancing convenience, cost, and logistics across borders.

The routes have recently introduced new and exciting travel options to Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, as Omio has expanded its global network. Holiday planners will find it easy to explore the destination landscapes, cultures, and coastlines in these colorful destinations, as travelers can easily book a train, bus, and ferry in these destinations. The growth is a new expression of exploring Southeast Asia, with comfort and ease, Omio is recognized for offering.

Omio is set to launch an exclusive promotion in November 2025 to celebrate its new service rollout. During the 11.11 and Black Friday/Cyber Monday (BFCM) campaigns, users can enjoy a 50% discount on Southeast Asia bookings by applying the voucher code ASIA50. This offer is available to both new and existing customers and can be redeemed across all Omio platforms, including the official website and mobile apps (iOS and Android).

It is worth mentioning that the voucher is exclusively applicable to ground transportation and ferry tickets in Southeast Asia; this does not apply to flights. The maximum discount of EUR7 is a part of the offer, and it will be active between 1 and 30 November 2025.

With this special offer, one will get a good chance to explore the various travel routes in Southeast Asia at an increased low cost and convenience.

The arrival of Omio in the landscape is associated with several improvements that are long overdue:

Omio collaborates with established carriers to offer secure and reliable transportation services to customers. This minimizes the guesswork and uncertainty that is usually involved in making regional travel bookings.

Price transparency has always been one of the strengths of Omio. As such expansion takes place, the traveler will be assured of direct pricing without additional charges or hidden charges that are frequently presented on local platforms.

The entry of Omio in Southeast Asia is not only the addition of more inventory but a major change in the way tourists, as well as locals, will travel the area. Omio is also making the transport flow more connected, modern, and traveler-friendly with the digitization and centralization of transportation options. With the growing momentum of sustainable travel in the global arena, more availability of ground and ferry transport systems is a favorable substitute for frequent short-haul flights.
