Setting Powerful Intentions for Manifestation

Welcome to the New Year! Okay, it’s been here for a little while now, but now is as good of a time as any to stop floating through the same old routine and create a refreshing start to your year. What better way is there to do that than by conducting a several-day journey into your deepest thoughts? You can connect with your higher self to change your outlook for the better, release that which no longer serves you, and manifest the intentions you think are best for you in your immediate future. Luckily, there are wonderful techniques available to help you release that which no longer serves you and to manifest with clear intentions.

I was thrilled to discover the power of multi-day meditation journeys, and as someone who is very focused on manifestation and creating the best life for myself, a ‘Manifesting with Intention’ approach stuck out to me immediately. With it being the start of a new year, I knew that it was the perfect way to release the pain from this previous year and begin the new year with fresh eyes, with new goals, and with motivation.

I also like this approach because it’s an easy one to start with, being only 3 days long. It’s a great way to get yourself back into the groove of daily meditation without intimidating yourself at the potential length of the commitment. I know when I haven’t meditated daily in a while, a 5- or 7-day meditation commitment can be intimidating and make me doubt if I can keep up with it. Three days is a great start that can help me feel safe and confident that I will accomplish it with ease.

I love the structure of these daily exercises for this multi-day journey specifically. It starts with a welcoming meditation that you can conduct prior to starting your day. I found this journey encouraging, and it reminded me to begin my day with gratitude. I feel, especially for manifestation exercises, you have to come from a place of gratitude to experience the results you are looking for. So, I conducted this exercise daily throughout my three-day journey since it’s a relatively short but incredibly beneficial exercise.

The next day of the journey had me releasing that which no longer serves me, which I think is another crucial tool in manifestation. How can we invite in the new and exciting goals and adventures into our lives if we are holding onto things that might get in the way of that? As humans, it’s only natural that we don’t like letting go sometimes. We excel in the familiar, as we love being comfortable, but as many have said before, the best things lie on the other side of fear. If we can leave our comfort zones and let go of things that we’re holding onto for familiarity, we can accomplish our goals so much more confidently and easily, in my opinion. So really taking the time to release things that are no longer relevant to you is a necessary tool to invite in the new. Think about it, when we get new furniture, we need to get rid of the old to bring the new in, right?

And finally, the final exercise has us manifesting what we desire, setting up our new intentions and plans. Again, at the beginning of every new year, I stop, look into what I truly want to accomplish at the start of the new year, and I work toward making it happen. A clear plan of what you want is so important when you are manifesting, as one of the prime elements of manifesting is visualizing these new accomplishments in your life, living them fully in your mind. So, a clear picture is key.

If you haven’t yet, I heavily encourage you to create your own multi-day meditation journeys. They’re like mini personal retreats that can easily be conducted daily from home, and the perfect way to begin planning out your meditation journey for the year.
